About Me

Qualifying in 2009 at the University of Birmingham, I trained and worked for several years in NHS Psychotherapy Services in Warwick,, and then later, at the Tavistock Clinic in London, part of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, where I completed a further rigorous professional clinical psychotherapy training, which specialised in working in a modern, multi-cultural context.
I am a fully qualified and accredited member of the TSP, the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists, the BPC, the British Psychoanalytic Council., https://www.bpc.org.uk/information-support/find-a-therapist-or-clinic/26494/ and the BACP, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have also trained in Energy Psychotherapy, a trauma-focused approach which I integrate alongside my core practice when talking therapy alone, is not sufficient. It is a safe and effective treatment that can alleviate and clear the symptoms associated with trauma and emotional distress that are held deeply in the body, including patterns of intergenerational, attachment, preverbal and complex trauma. It involves working with the acupoint meridians using EFT, the energy centres, (chakras), and breathing exercises amongst other energy methods,
For the past 7 years I have worked in Private practice in Brighton.
