About Me

Qualifying in 2009 at the University of Birmingham, I trained and worked for several years in NHS Psychotherapy Services in Warwick and then later at the Tavistock Clinic in London, part of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, which has an unrivalled reputation as an internationally regarded centre of excellence in psychoanalytic training. There I completed a further rigorous professional clinical psychotherapy training, which specialised in working in a modern, multi-cultural context.
I am a fully qualified and accredited member of the TSP, the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists, the BPC, the British Psychoanalytic Council., https://www.bpc.org.uk/information-support/find-a-therapist-or-clinic/26494/ the BACP, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and ACEP, the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
I am also trained in Energy Psychotherapy, a trauma-informed approach which facilitates the movement from insight into an integrated embodied experience. It is a safe and effective treatment that can alleviate, unblock and clear the symptoms associated with trauma and emotional distress that are held deeply in the body's energy system. Including patterns of intergenerational, attachment, preverbal and complex trauma. It involves working with the acupoint meridians using tapping, often know as EFT, the energy centres, (the chakras), breathwork and intention amongst other energy methods which can help to regulate the nervous system.
For the past 8 years I have worked in Private practice in Brighton.
